This track is about these trying times we're living in now. The politicizing of a disease, the manipulation by the ones in power, the neglect in dealing with it, people's own disillusionment, the duality of our reality, and the general divisiveness of our government and media.

Stumble into the outside world. Greeted by the light. Humanity at it's best. Shrouded in dark. People at their worst. Eyes wide open. Solace in masks and avoidance of crowds. Others blinded by ignorance and lies. Twisted, Ugly, spitting the disease. Branches winding out, reaching for the sun.
Whichever it shines on blooms. Growing, gaining weight. Enveloping.
Seducing. Truth elusive. Venom on the lips of the greedy. People trapped in husks of oblivion. Earth rejecting it's parasites. Shedding them like dead skin. Lifeless and useless. Aborted like so many in time. Coughing and wheezing. Choking on dictators. Bleeding their empathy. Predators making war. Raping the innocent. Disposable lives. Puking up lies like poetry lines. The weak guzzling it down in record time. Wilting from the lack of sustenance. Lack of substance. In itself, a punishment. Blisters of decadence in the west. War in the east. Refugees fleeing. To a better place. Does it exist? Sign of the times. Blind leading the blind. The wicked are winning. For only so long. For they are extinguishable as well. Their time will come in time. Overdue.
